 Janet

In December of 2005, we were lucky enough to have Janet join us, when Dr. Brooks merged his practice with our hospital.  She had worked with Dr. Brooks for many years as head receptionist, and has brought her insight and customer service experience with her. She is very knowledgeable in customer support and familiar with many aspects of what goes into animal care.

A native of Transylvania County, Janet currently lives in the Blantyre area. She has been married to her husband Chuck since 1982, and they have one son Chris.  She shares her home with a German shepherd “Chief”, a sweet pit bull named “Daisy”, and a spry kitty “Napoleon”.
 Nancy

 Joining our customer service staff in November of 2011, Nancy came to us after being a Realtor in Transylvania County and its surrounding areas for 8 years. She is a familiar presence at our front desk as receptionist and involved with customer assistance.

Nancy and her husband, Bill, have been married since 1986 and are the proud parents of one son. Nancy enjoys cooking, kayaking, and “Harley riding” with her friends and family. At home she has two sweet dogs “Betty” and “Kali” and to complete their clan is two very lively kitties “Bear” and “Felix”.

 
 Missy

Missy joined our practice in the fall of 2014. Missy has many years of knowledge in customer service, having worked as a veterinary assistant in South Florida for 19 years. She is a hard working addition here, and is integrating with ease into our client assistant team. She also takes on the added role of helping out with boarding patient care on some weekends.

Missy and her husband Javier, look forward to becoming permanent residence of Transylvania County. They currently have two lucky, sweet kitties “Baby Boy” and “Faith”.

  Diane

 Diane became a part of our patient care team in December of 2005, when Dr. Brooks merged his practice with Brevard Animal Hospital. She had worked with Dr. Brooks on his team for many years before joining our crew. Diane is a great, compassionate addition to any part of our team, bringing with her a vast knowledge in patient care, for both healthy and sick or recovering animals.

Diane is a Transylvania County native, who enjoys and takes advantage of the beautiful landscape in our area, through hiking and biking. She lives here in Western North Carolina with her husband, Dennis, their lovable Labradors “Ben” and “Maggie”, and along with their peppy turtle “Patrick”.

 Sharon

Sharon is the newest face among our customer service group. She is a native of Transylvania County, has 3 furry pets, “Carl”, “Al” and “Belle” plus 2 children.  She teaches Zumba classes in her spare time as well as being outdoors and reading. Please welcome Sharon next time you drop in the Brevard Animal Hospital.
